Simple everyday habits that help protect silver, gemstones and pearl jewellery.
Jewellery naturally reacts to moisture, air, cosmetics and daily wear. Proper handling helps preserve its finish, setting and shine for longer.
Remove jewellery before bathing, swimming, exercising or doing household work. Wipe it dry immediately if it becomes wet.
Apply perfume, hairspray, lotion and makeup before wearing jewellery. Keep pieces away from chlorine, bleach and cleaning agents.
Keep every piece in a soft pouch or lined box. Separate chains and gemstone pieces to prevent tangling, scratches and impact damage.
Use a clean, soft, lint-free cloth after wearing. Do not use abrasive polish, toothpaste, hard brushes or harsh home remedies.
Natural stones and pearls can be delicate. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners, soaking and sudden temperature changes unless professionally advised.
Open clasps gently and avoid pulling chains or forcing rings and bracelets. Remove jewellery before sleeping or strenuous activity.
Sterling silver may darken naturally when exposed to air, humidity, sweat or chemicals. This is normal and is not a manufacturing defect. A silver-safe polishing cloth can help restore shine.
Confirm that clasps close securely and stones are not loose. Stop wearing the piece if you notice damage and contact us before attempting a repair.
